Nippattu is a traditional snack from the regions of Karnataka. It is a snack consumed in many ways. It is eaten with pickle, also layered with raw veggies like carrot, tomato, onions and coriander along with sweet, tangy and spicy chutney.
It is often gifted along with murukku during religious festivals, marriages and traditional ceremonies.
Sabsige Nippattu has a pungent taste and smell in it, thus enhancing the flavour when compared to normal Nippattu. This is a best buddy to an evening hot tea or coffee.
